Every point in this skill increases the amount of rested time you start with at the beginning of each day by 0.25% effectively multiplying it by 1.25 at a skill of 100.
Extended Study is a member of the Learning group of skills that is available at character level 1. Raising this skill at or above your character level will incur an experience point penalty. As a Learning skill, Extended Study can only be raised passively. This skill will boost the maximum amount of rested time (RT) you can have by 9 seconds per level of this skill for a free account, 18 seconds for a standard account, or 27 seconds for a premium account. Extended Study increases the benefits from the Afterthought skill, since ES increases base RT while Afterthought introduces a multiplier to the RT value. If you want to raise the maximum amount of rollover rested time (RRT) instead, you must level Rollover Cap or Time Hoarding instead.
