Runes are stones that gives benefits to all members of a clan when activated. You can gain runes by looting; runes used to be available in General Stores in the various towns.

Rune ActivationEdit

All runes are activated with runepower, which is the "money" of a clan. Runepower is accumulated via a treasure chest tax to all clan members or by donation, on a 1-to-1 basis: 5 gold taxed or donated gives the clan 5 rune power, for example. In addition to runepower, higher rank runes require minimum clan "territory" and "dominance", which are usually acquired by winning clan battles and arena battles.

To activate runes, the rune must first be placed in the clan vault. Clanmembership of at least Soldier rank, with a minimum Archeorunology skill level (specified in the table below) is required to equip the rune. Having paid (standard or premium) status allows a player to equip more runes: 2 for free accounts, 4 for standard and 6 for premium accounts. After every 20 levels you can activate another rune slot on your character. Level 20 allows for the activation of the first rune slot. Each incremental slot requires +20 Archeorunology, as shown below.

Runes with plus signs (+) have lower Archeorunology skill requirements, allowing a player to equip more runes at a lower player level.
