[edit] Stats
Stats skills are necessary for the advancement of all types of characters be they fighters, archers, casters or crafters. You gain active experience in these skills by killing creatures near that of your own level.
[edit] Base Skills
- Every advancement in this skill allows you to distribute extra points in melee stats.
- Every advancement in this skill allows you to distribute extra points in magic stats.
- Every advancement in this skill allows you to distribute extra points in defense stats
- Every advancement in this skill allows you to distribute extra points in recovery stats
- Every point in this skill increases the effect of your innate class bonuses by 0.5% effectively multiplying your bonuses by 1.5 at skill of 100. Later skills will increase it even further.
- Every point in this skill increases the stat bonus of two-handed weapons and staves by 1.0% effectively doubling them at a skill of 100.
[edit] Level 20 Skills
- Every point in this skill increases the stat bonus of items by 0.25% effectively multiplying them by 1.25 at a skill of 100.
- Every point in this skill decreases the stat penalties of items by 0.5% effectively halving them at a skill of 100.
- Every point in this skill increases the effect of your innate class bonuses (not to be confused with class experience bonuses and penalties) by 1% effectively tripling the bonuses at a skill of 100 assuming Class Enhancement is also maxed.

- Every point in this skill decreases the rested time lost upon death by 0.5% effectively halving it at a skill of 100.
[edit] Learning
Learning skills are unique in that they do not directly improve your character but instead improve the rate at which your character can obtain other skills. They are also unique in that by default you select one Learning skill passive training rather than active and it automatically gains experience without you having to do anything - even when you are logged off.
[edit] Base Skills
- Active Acceleration
- Every point in this skill increases all active experience gains by 0.25% effectively multiplying them by 1.25 at 100.
- Passive Advancement
- Having a point in this skill allows you to select a non-Stats, non-Learning skill for passive training starting at half the speed of Learning Skills. Every point in this skill also increases the amount gained in this manner by 1.0% effectively matching Passive Learning skill speed at a skill of 100.
- Rush of Knowledge
- Every point in this skill increases the base chance of 5% for an experience rush by 0.1% for a maximum of 15% with this skill alone.
- Rollover Cap
- Every point in this skill adds 0.2 hours to the maximum amount of rested time retained when the day changes. It starts at 5 hours by default and can get to 25 hours with this skill alone. This skill also adds to Rush of Knowledge by adding an additional 0.05 per point to your experience rush chance.
- Group Acumen
- Every point in this skill increases all experience gains in Stats skills when grouped by 0.5% effectively multiplying your experience by 1.5 at a skill of 100.
- Advanced Learning
- Every point in this skill increases all experience gains in Learning skills by 0.75% effectively multiplying them by 1.75 at a skill of 100.
- Extended Study
- Every point in this skill increases the amount of rested time you start with at the beginning of each day by 0.25% effectively multiplying it by 1.25 at a skill of 100.

- Cognizance
- Every point in this skill increases all passive experience gains in Weaponry, Archery, Protection, Life/Death/Psych Magic, and Beast Mastery skills by 1.0% effectively doubling them at a skill of 100.
- Perception
- Every point in this skill increases all passive experience gains in Learning, Crafting, Artistry, Resourcefulness, Adventuring and Social skills by 1.0% effectively doubling them at a skill of 100.
- Squirehood
- Every point in this skill increases all active experience gains in Weaponry, Archery, and Protection skills by 1.0% effectively doubling them at a skill of 100.
- Arcane Research
- Every point in this skill increases all active experience gains in Life/Death/Psych Magic skills by 1.0% effectively doubling them at a skill of 100.
- Companionship
- Every point in this skill increases all active experience gains in Beast Mastery skills by 2.0% effectively tripling them at a skill of 100.

- Cultivation
- Every point in this skill increases all experience gains in Learning skills by 2.0% effectively tripling them at a skill of 100.
- Afterthought
- Every point in this skill adds 0.2 to the % of rested time retained when the day changes achieving a maximum of 120% making it beneficial to let time rollover.

- Time Hoarding
- Every point in this skill increases your maximum rollover rested time by 1% effectively doubling it at a skill of 100.
[edit] Weaponry
Weaponry skills are those which improve your ability to inflict damage with melee weapons. To gain active experience in these skills you must sacrifice combat trophies to the Altar of Steel located in any town.
[edit] Base Skills
- Slashing
- This is your prowess with slashing weapons. If this skill is low compared to the level of your opponent you may do as little as half normal damage. This skill does not affect whips even though whips do slashing damage.
- Piercing
- This is your prowess with piercing weapons. If this skill is low compared to the level of your opponent you may do as little as half normal damage. Also increases the chance to hit with piercing weapons by 0.05% per point.
- Crushing
- This is your prowess with crushing weapons. If this skill is low compared to the level of your opponent you may do as little as half normal damage. This skil does not affect staves even though they do crushing damage.
- Critical Strike
- Every point in this skill provides a chance of 0.25% to crit with slashing, crushing, and piercing attacks. This includes whips and staves. This skill also provides a 1% per point chance to crit on the first two-handed, non-staff attack of a battle.
- Overcrit
- Every point in this skill increases the total damage of slashing, crushing, and piercing crits (including whips and staves) by 0.33%.
- Two Handed
- This skill provides a base 20% plus an added 0.2% chance per point of scoring a critical hit with two-handed slashing, crushing, and piercing attacks including staves resulting in a crit chance with both this and Critical Strike maxed of well over 50%.
- Hemorrhage
- Every point in this skill provides a chance of 0.33% (or 1% when using two handed weapons) to cause instant bloodlet damage equal to the attack's minimum damage. This works with slashing, crushing, and piercing attacks including whips and staves.
[edit] Level 20 Skills
- Dual Wield
- You must have a skill of 20 in this to actual dual wield. When dual wielding your attack delay is equal to the sum of the delays of your two weapons but you also have 50% extra attack speed. Every point in this skill increases that attack speed bonus while dual wielding by 0.5% so at a skill of 100 you would be swinging just as fast with two weapons as you would with one.
- Double Attack
- Every point in this skill provides a 0.2% chance of striking twice with slashing, crushing, and piercing weapons including whips and staves.
- Slash Spec
- Every point in this skill increases your damage from slashing sources including whips by 0.2%.
- Pierce Spec
- Every point in this skill increases your minimum damage from piercing sources by 0.4%.
- Crush Spec
- Every point in this skill increases your maximum damage from crushing sources including staves by 0.25%.
[edit] Level 40 Skills
- Slice
- Every point in this skill grants a 0.35% chance of your melee slashing hits to cause your target to bleed for 60 damage over 60 seconds with unlimited stacking. At a skill of 100, 35% of your slashing hits will trigger this effect.
- Puncture
- Training this skill gives a flat 10% chance for melee piercing hits to pierce an internal organ and cause instant poisonbolt damage. The damage will be small at first but will max out at 150 damage as your puncture skill increases.
- Smash
- Every point in this skill grants a 0.1% chance of your melee crushing hits to stun your target for 4 seconds. At a skill of 100, 10% of your crushing hits will trigger this effect.
- Precision
- Every point in this skill increases the chance to hit with slashing, crushing, and piercing weapons by 0.1%
[edit] Level 60 Skills
- Strike-through
- Every point in this skill reduces the chance of your melee attacks being blocked or parried by 0.15% if using one-handed weapons or 0.3% if using two-handed weapons for a 15% or 30% reduction at a skill of 100.
[edit] Level 80 Skills
- Death Blow
- Melee crits against targets with less than 20% health will deal an extra 1% damage per point in this skill. If using two-handers this affects all hits, not just crits. This effect will not occur when striking yourself.

Archery skills are those that increase your proficiency with a bow and arrow. To gain active experience in these skills you must sacrifice combat trophies to the Altar of Archers located in any town.
[edit] Base Skills
- Archery
- This is your prowess with bow and arrow. If this skill is low compared to the level of your opponent you may do as little as half normal damage.
- Critical shot
- Every point in this skill provides a chance of 0.2% to crit with ranged attacks.
- Serial Criticality
- Every point in this skill provides an extra 0.15% chance of scoring a critical hit with ranged attacks and increases the total damage of ranged crits by 0.1%.
- Trishot
- Every point in this skill provides a 0.1% chance of shooting three times instead of once with ranged attacks.
- Kiting
- This skill causes you to back peddle more quickly when auto shooting thus increasing your chance to avoid melee attacks by up to 0.20% per point depending on your AGI vs. AGI of attacker. Effectiveness halved when avoiding strikes from two-handed weapons.
- Ambush
- Every point in this skill increases the chance of your first autoshot to be a crit by 1% and to be a Trishot by 0.1% effectively making a crit guaranteed and the chance of a Trishot nearly double normal (assuming Trishot maxed) at a skill of 100.

- Trained Eye
- Every point in this skill increases your chance to hit with ranged attacksby 0.15%.
- Flameshot
- Every point in this skill grants a 0.5% chance of your arrows burning your target for 30 damage over 30 seconds with unlimited stacking. At a skill of 100, 50% of your ranged hits will trigger this effect. This skill will not work if your Poison Arrow skill is higher.
- Poison Arrow
- Every point in this skill grants a 0.25% chance of your arrows poisoning your target for 120 damage over 120 seconds with unlimited stacking. At skill 100, 25% of your ranged hits will trigger this effect. This skill will not work if your Flameshot skill is higher.
- Vengeful Shot
- Every point in this skill grants a 0.25% chance of firing an immediate ranged shot at anyone who hits you with a direct damage spell.
[edit] Level 40 Skills
- Blinding Arrow
- Every point in this PvP skill grants a 0.1% chance of your ranged hits to blind your target(s) for 3 seconds hiding their interface. At a skill of 100, 10% of your ranged hits will trigger this effect.
- Arrowrain
- Every point in this skill grants a 0.2% chance when firing a ranged shot that it will split into multiple arrows and hit all of your enemies for normal damage.
[edit] Level 80 Skills
- Broadhead
- Every point in this skill grants a 0.5% chance when you crit with a range hit to cause your target to bleed for an additional 150 damage over 120 seconds with unlimited stacking. At a skill of 100 50% of your ranged crits will trigger this effect.
[edit] Protection
Protection skills are those that improve your ability to protect both yourself and others from taking damage during combat. To gain active experience in these skills you must sacrifice combat trophies to the Altar of the Shield located in any town.
[edit] Base Skills
- Every point in this skill raises your innate armor class by 1.
- Every point in this skill provides a 0.13% to 0.25% chance (depending on your combined STR and AGI) to block all melee, ranged, and direct damage attacks when auto attacking and using a shield.
- Every point in this skill provides up to 0.2% chance (depending on your combined DEX and AGI) to parry melee attacks when auto attacking.
- When in combat you do not regenerate any HP, enery or mana by default. Every point in this skill causes you to regenerate 0.1% of your out-of-combat regeneration rate resulting in you regenerating at 10% of your out-of-combat rate when in combat at a skill of 100. The effects of this skill are halved if you have a staff equipped.
- Every point in this skill provides roughly 0.1% resistance to all harmful magical effects depending on your contravention.
- When starting combat with a shield equipped you will gain a fading damage absorption shield of 100 times the value of this skill or 100 times your shield level - whichever is lower. The shield will dissipate if your first attack is a ranged attack. Fading shields half in value every 5 seconds.
[edit] Level 20 Skills
- Dual Parry
- Every point in this skill provides up to an extra 0.2% chance of parrying melee attacks while dual wielding.
- Deflective Shield
- Every point in this skill provides a 1.0% chance of reflecting any spell you block back at the caster.
- Mirrored Blade
- Every point in this skill provides a 0.25% chance of mirroring any direct damage spell that hits you back at the caster when you are auto attacking with a two-handed weapon.
- Combat Endurance
- Every point in this skill stacks with Combat Recovery to provide an additional 0.15 to the % of your combat energy regen. With both skills maxed you will regenerate energy at 25% (30% with a staff) of your out-of-combat rate when in combat.
- Combat Concentration
- Every point in this skill stacks with Combat Recovery to provide an additional 0.15 to the % of your combat mana regen. With both skills maxed you will regenerate mana at 25% (30% with a staff) of your out-of-combat rate when in combat.
[edit] Level 40 Skills
- Bash
- Every point in this skill grants a 0.2% chance after every melee hit to bash with your shield mesmerizing your target for 3 seconds. At a skill of 100, 20% of your hits will trigger this effect.
- Banish Light
- Every point in this skill provides roughly 0.15% resistance to all harmful Life Magic effects depending on your contravention.
- Grim Resolution
- Every point in this skill provides roughly 0.15% resistance to all harmful Death Magic effects depending on your contravention.
- Null Mind
- Every point in this skill provides roughly 0.15% resistance to all harmful Psych Magic effects depending on your contravention.
[edit] Level 60 Skills
- Battle Mending
- Every point in this skill stacks with Combat Recovery to provide an additional 0.15 to the % of your combat hitpoint regen. With both skills maxed out you will regenerate hitpoints at 25% of your out-of-combat rate when in combat.
[edit] Level 80 Skills
- Improved Bash
- For every point in this skill you will deal that much damage to your target every time you bash.
[edit] Life Magic
Life Magic skills allow you to improve your ability in white and green magic. To gain active experience in these skills you must sacrifice spirit trophies to the Altar of Life located in any town.
[edit] Base Skills
- Sorcery
- Points in this skill increase the total amount of white and green gems you can place in your pouch at once (1 skill per gem up to 25 then 3 per gem after that) and give roughly 0.05% resistance to life magic depending on your contravention.
- White Magic
- This is your prowess with white magic direct damage. If this skill is low compared to the level of your opponent you may do as little as half normal damage. Additionally each point in this skill lowers mana and energy costs of white gems by 0.2%.
- Green Magic
- This is your prowess with green magic direct damage. If this skill is low compared to the level of your opponent you may do as little as half normal damage. Additionally each point in this skill lowers mana and energy costs of green gems by 0.2%.
- Mental Conservation
- When using a staff all your gems that you click to use while in play use 35% plus 0.15 per point in this skill less mana for a maximum of 50% less mana.
- Remedial Focus
- Every point in this skill increases the effect of healing over time gems by 0.4% for staff users and 0.1% for others.
- Revitalize
- When struck by melee or ranged attacks while auto attacking this skill provides a 10% for staff users and 3% for non-staff users chance of causing you to gain an amount of energy equal to the value of this skill over 10 seconds with unlimited stacking.
[edit] Level 20 Skills
- Healing
- Every point in this skill increases the effect of all healing gems by 0.4%. This includes healing over time but not never-ending, continual healing gems.
- Repel
- Every point in this skill increases the effect of resistance gems by 0.4%.
- Shared Bliss
- Every point in this increases the effect of all group based beneficial gems by 0.25%.
- Eternity
- Every point in this skill increases the effect of never-ending, continual hitpoint, mana, and energy replenishing gems by 0.4%.
- Palisade
- Every point in this skill increases the effect of damage barrier, damage mirroring and reflective gems by 0.4%.
[edit] Level 60 Skills
- Yellow Snow
- Every point in this skill provides a 0.1% chance for staff users and a 0.02% chance for others to heal the entire group when using any healing gem.
[edit] Level 80 Skills
- Holy Clutch
- Every point in this skill provides a 0.2% bonus for staff users and 0.05% bonus for others to the healing effects of gems used on friendly targets below 20% health.

Death Magic skills give you more power with red and black magic. To gain active experience in these skills you must sacrifice spirit trophies to the Altar of Torment located in any town.

- Diabolism
- Points in this skill increase the total amount of red and black gems you can place in your pouch at once (1 skill per gem up to 25 then 3 per gem after that) and give roughly 0.05% resistance to death magic depending on your contravention.
- Red Magic
- This is your prowess with red magic direct damage. If this skill is low compared to the level of your opponent you may do as little as half normal damage. Additionally each point in this skill lowers mana and energy costs of red gems by 0.2%.
- Black Magic
- This is your prowess with black magic direct damage. If this skill is low compared to the level of your opponent you may do as little as half normal damage. Additionally each point in this skill lowers mana and energy costs of black gems by 0.2%.
- Staves
- This is your prowess with staves. If this skill is low compared to the level of your opponent you may do as little as half normal damage with staff attacks. Additionally when using a staff all your gems that you click to use while in play use 25% plus 0.15 per point in this skill less energy for a maximum of 40% less energy.
- Slight of Hand
- If you have a staff equipped you will begin combat with the first gem in your pouch already in play. Also if you have a staff equipped you will have a 0.1% chance per point in this skill to have the effects of any gem you use to go off twice.
- Destruction
- Each point in this skill gives a 0.2% chance of doing critical damage with direct damage gems. When using a staff you gain an additional 10% chance.
[edit] Level 20 Skills
- Inferno
- Every point in this skill increases the damage from red direct damage gems by 0.35% but if you have a staff equipped it increases blue gem direct damage by 0.2% as well.
- Necromancy
- Every point in this skill increases the damage of direct damage black gems by 0.35% and if you have a staff equipped it affects direct damage green gems by 0.35% as well.
- Dark Patience
- Every point in this skill increases the damage and duration of black damage over time gems by 0.5% but if you have a staff equipped it affects all colors.
- Longevity
- Every point in this skill gives you an extra 0.5% max energy when using a staff or 0.15% max energy if no staff is equipped.
- Outbreak
- Every point in this skill gives you a 0.1% chance when using a staff or 0.02% when not of boosting your damage over time gem damage by 25% and applying the effect to all enemy targets.
[edit] Level 40 Skills
- Everence
- Each point in this skill gives you an extra 0.75% max energy.
- Hasten Demise
- Each point in this skill increeses the speed at which damage over time gems work by 1% for staff users and 0.25% for non-staff users.
- Rupture
- Every point in this skill provides a 0.15% chance when successfully using a damage over time gem of causing all other similar damage over time effects to immediately cause all their damage before applying the new effect. This skill only works when a staff is equipped.
[edit] Level 60 Skills
- Burning Soul
- If you have a staff equipped each point in this skill gives you a 0.5% chance when struck by melee or ranged attacks of causing the attacker to burn for 30 damage over 30 seconds with unlimited stacking.
- Deathflow
- Each point in this skill provides a 0.1% chance for staff users to perform a deathflow when using a damage over time gem increasing its total damage by their intelligence. This will at most double the damage of the spell.
[edit] Level 80 Skills
- Improved Rupture
- When your target’s health percentage is below 0.2 multiplied by your amount of points in this skill then your ruptures will have a 100% chance of occurring. At maximum skill your rupture will always occur against targets with less than 20% health. This skill only works when a staff is equipped.
[edit] Psych Magic
Psych Magic skills give you extra power in the realms of grey and blue magic. To gain active experience in these skills you must sacrifice spirit trophies to the Altar of Dementia located in any town.
[edit] Base Skills
- Mind Bending
- Points in this skill increase the total amount of blue and grey gems you can place in your pouch at once (1 skill per gem up to 25 then 3 per gem after that) and give roughly 0.05% resistance to psych magic depending on your contravention.
- Blue Magic
- This is your prowess with blue magic direct damage. If this skill is low compared to the level of your opponent you may do as little as half normal damage. Additionally each point in this skill lowers mana and energy costs of blue gems by 0.2%.
- Grey Magic
- This is your prowess with grey magic direct damage. If this skill is low compared to the level of your opponent you may do as little as half normal damage. Additionally each point in this skill lowers mana and energy costs of grey gems by 0.2%.
- Wizardry
- If you have a staff equipped you get a 40% draw haste plus 0.4 for each point in this skill for a maximum of 80%. Levels 10 and 50 of this skill also unlock the ability to use additional pouches, however, you lose all gems in play when switching between pouches.
- Divination
- With a staff equipped your base combat energy and mana regen rate will be 10% instead of 0%. Additionally if you have a staff equipped every point in this skill provides a 1% chance of immediately drawning a gem from your pouch when combat begins.
- Gem Handling
- At skills 10, 20, and 50 you can have 2, 3, and 4 like gems in your pouch instead of just 1. Additionally every point in this skill provides a 1% chance of starting combat with any aura gems in your second, third, and fourth top pouch slots immediately in play. At a skill of 100 they will always start in play.
- Replenish
- When struck by melee or ranged attacks while auto attacking this skill provides a 20% for staff users and 5% for non-staff users chance of causing you to gain an amount of mana equal to half the value of this skill over 5 seconds with unlimited stacking.
[edit] Level 20 Skills
- Replay
- Every point in this skill gives you a 0.5% chance of immediately drawing a new gem after putting a blue gem into play.
- Aggravation
- Every point in this skill gives an additional 0.25% duration and a 0.75% chance to avoid resists for taunt gems.
- Perseverance
- Every point in this skill gives you an extra 0.5% max mana when using a staff or 0.15% max mana if no staff is equipped.
[edit] Level 40 Skills
- Mana Vault
- Each point in this skill gives you an extra 0.75% mana.
[edit] Level 80 Skills
- Tunnel Vision
- Every point in this skill provides staff users with an extra 0.25% concentration making their gems less likely to be resisted.
[edit] Beast Mastery
Beast Mastery skills give you increased ability to control and encourage pets. To gain active experience in these skills you must sacrifice combat or spirit trophies to the Altar of the Beast located in any town.
[edit] Base Skills
- This is your prowess with pets. If this skill is low compared to the level of your opponent your pet may do as little as half normal damage when attacking.
- Whips
- This is your prowess with whips. If this skill is low compared to the level of your opponent you may do as little as half normal damage with whip attacks.
- Taming
- If you have a whip equipped on the same side as a pet then that pet will receive 1% attack damage and healing bonus for every point in this skill.
- Loyalty
- If you have a whip equipped on the same side as a healing pet then that pet will heal for 0.75% more for every point in this skill.
- Predacity
- Every point in this skill increases your crit chance for pet attacks by 0.1%. With at least 1 whip equipped your pets have an additional 20% chance to crit.
- Wound
- As long as this skill is greater or equal to the Petmanship skill level required to equip your pet, when that pet crits he will also deal that damage amount in a 10 second bleed. All bleed effects stack.
[edit] Level 20 Skills
- Ferocity
- Every point in this skill increases all pet damage by 0.25%.
[edit] Level 40 Skills
- Growl
- Every point in this skill increases the chance by 0.1% for each or either pet to growl and cause any melee, ranged, or direct damage attack made against you to miss. Only works for each pet if you have a whip on the same side as the pet and are auto attacking.
- Intimidate
- Every point in this skill grants a 0.1% chance when hitting with a whip that your pet will stun your target for 2 seconds. At a skill of 100, 10% of your whip hits will trigger this effect.
- Fire and Ice
- Every point in this skill gives pets a 1% chance of both attacking and healing for those using a whip on the same side as the pet. At maximum skill your pet will always attack and heal regardless of the type of pet it is.
[edit] Level 60 Skills
- Stalking
- Every point in this skill will increase pet damage, healing, and intimidation stun duration by 1.0% but slow the rate of attacks and heals 0.4% for whip users and 0.5% for others.
[edit] Level 80 Skills
- Sense Fear
- Every point in this skill will give your pet an additional 1% chance of critting targets below 20% health. At maximum skill your pet will always crit on these targets.
[edit] Crafting
Crafting skills determine your ability to create the implements of war. To gain active experience in these skills requires that you actually perform the skills by crafting things. NOTE: Only one of the first 6 skills can be raised above 20 until level 20 (then only 2 can via the Craftsmanship skill) so choose wisely.
[edit] Base Skills
- Practicers of this craft use a Forge, or Arm and Leg Forms to create Helmets, Breastplates, Sleeves, and Leggings.
- Practicers of this craft use a Forge to creat slashing, crushing, and piercing weapons.
- Practicers of this craft are skilled in creating whips and the various types of leather used to make them and other trade items.
- Practicers of this craft are able to process wood into fine planks used for many trade items, however, they also specialize in the creation of staves and shields.
- Brewers are currently known for their ability to extract valuable oils from vegetables and fish via the use of huge cauldrons. Some are also studying to one day master the art of creating spirits.
- Fletchers are able to create the most valuable bows and arrows known to the land.

- Craftsmanship
- This skill allows you to get a second Crafting skill above level 20 but only as high as your Craftsmanship skill.
- Assembly
- Every point in this skill reduces the mana requirement of creating items by 0.5% which will half the amount needed at maximum skill.
[edit] Artistry
Artistry skills determine your proficiency for creating the finer things in life. To gain active experience in these skills requires that you actually perform the skills be creating or refining things. NOTE: Only one of the first 6 skills can be raised above 20 until level 20 (then only 2 can via the Workmanship skill) so choose wisely.
[edit] Base Skills
- A sharp and a steady hand are necessary, but even then it takes years to master the art of creating gems from rare geodes.

- The art of clothworking involves the creation of thread, cloth, and quivers.
- Potionmaking is an art not yet practiced in these lands.
- Little is yet known about enchanting other than it will allow you to redistribute stats on items to better suit the needs of yourself and others.
- Only those with a mastery of the flame have the ability to forge a fire hot enough to smelt the highest quality ores into trade worthy ingots.

- Workmanship
- This skill allows you to get a second Artistry skill above level 20 but only as high as your Workmanship skill.
- Sweatshop
- Every point in this skill reduces the energy requirement of creating items by 0.5% which will half the amount needed at maximum skill.

Skills in Resourcefulness improve your ability to gather the resources necessary for crafters and artisans. To gain active experience in these skills requires that you actually perform the skills by using tools that allow you to hunt or gather resources after combat. NOTE: Only one of the first 7 skills can be raised above 20 until level 20 then they all can via the Collection skill.

- This skill requires that you have a bow and arrow and allows you to hunt in some zones. The higher your skill is the more likely you are to see something to shoot and that it will be rare.
- This skill requires that you have a fishing pole and allows you to fish in all zones with visible water. The higher your skill is the more likely you are to catch something useful or rare.
- This skill requires that you set traps in various zones and check on them occasionally. The higher your skill is the more likely you are to trap something and that it will be rare.
- This skill requires that you have a wood cutting axe and allows you to harvest wood in suitable zones. The higher your skill is the more likely you are to harvest quality wood.
- This skill requires that you have a mining hammer and allows you to harvest valuable ores from the rocks in the ground. The higher your skill the more likely you are to obtain high quality ores.
- This skill requires that you have a spade and allows you to plant and harvest vegetables. The higher your skill the more likely you are to get a good harvest.
- Foraging is a skill of finding useful and valuable plants and requires that you have the knowledge to properly identify those plants. The higher your skill the more likely you are to find a quality plant or anything at all.

- Collection
- This skill allows you to get all other Resourcefulness skills above level 20 but only as high as your Collection skill.

Adventuring skills provide bonuses to travel related abilities. To gain active experience in these skills you must travel from one town to a different town.

- Decumbrance
- Every point in this skill increases the amount you can carry without becoming encumbered by 2 rock. When encumbered you encounter all grey creatures and take extra time before you can begin attacking.
- Archeorunology
- This skill is necessary for equipping powerful runes.
- Exploration
- Each point in this skill adds 0.3 to the default 50% chance of avoiding combat with grey creatures or any non-boss creature when traveling on trails for a maximum of 80% avoidance.
- Climbing
- This skill provides access to remote areas and aids in travel speed by providing a 1% chance per point to avoid creatures in mountainous terrain at the same rate at which you avoid greys.
- Treasure Sense
- Each point in this skill adds 0.07 to the default 3% chance of having a gold rush when opening a treasure chest for a maximum of 10%.
- Backpacking
- Every 4 points in this skill increases your amount of inventory slots by 1. Levels 25 and 50 of this skill also unlock the ability to use additional equipment sets.
- Item Stacking
- Every 5 points in this skill increases the maximum stack size of items by 5.

- Plunderfiend
- Each point in this skill increases the chance of all non-boss loot by 0.3%.
- Packmule
- Every 2 points in this skill increases your amount of inventory slots by 1.

[edit] Base Skills
Social skills are a measure of your character's charisma. You gain active experience in these skills whenever you do gold transactions with other players.
- Salesmanship
- Every 4 points in this skill increases the amount of items you can auction by 1. It starts at 10 by default and can reach 35 with this skill alone.
- Bartering
- Every point in this skill lowers the goblin tax on play to play gold transactions of 5% by 0.04 to a minimum tax of 1%.
- Language

- Storage
- Every point in this skill increases your amount of storage slots by 1.
- Recruitment
- You can get a time card for every $20 spent by someone you recruit to the game. For more information see the Recruitment System thread at the top of the Player Guides and Help forum (on the Nodiatis forums).
